Professional chef Daniel McKennariey was living the dream, travelling all over the USA, Europe, and the Caribbean as a private chef on superyachts and estates, when he realised the exotic cuisines all had one thing in common – the love of a great sandwich! It was here, that his vision for DannyBoys began. By April 2011, Daniel had perfected a collection of token sandwich recipes – his ‘Rockstars’ – and decided it was time to share them with the locals. It didn’t take long for word of his sandwich genius to spread, and the shop soon became a staple eatery on the Brisbane food scene.
